now I lay my mac to sleep

Since the last upgrade of OS X my MacBook Pro has on more then one occasion been extremely hot and dead as a door nail after I’ve pulled the thing out of the case. The battery light just blink, blink, blinks. It turns out that somebody got the bright idea that just slamming the lid shut with the intention of I’m outta here wasn’t a good thing. That somehow I don’t that feature! Whatever dude. I want it to work like it worked for the last 7 years. Slam it shut, stuff it in the case, out the door.
